Our vast experience in custom decking suggests that the best way to create a custom, two toned deck is to use the parting board, rail caps, picture framing and fascia trim.
Most often, we design and install a two-part deck fascia, allowing us to create a two tone deck by using 1/3 of the same color as was used in the deck field – the main deck floor color – and then using a complementary or corresponding color on the remaining 2/3 of the fascia. This can be the same color we used for the parting board, picture framing or the rail cap.
