But soon after moving into the newly built home of their dreams and getting the interior just the way they want it, they sometimes feel that something is missing.

That something can often be found beyond the interior walls in backyards across Columbus.

After completion of the outdoor living oasis – WOW!

After thoughtful consideration of their wants and needs to enjoy their backyard space virtually year-round, this family contacted this TimberTech deck builder to explore the possibilities of adding a covered porch and open-air patio to their new built home.

Enter Archadeck of Columbus, professionally recognized by the media and trades for their excellence in outdoor living design, building and attention to detail.

In addition to being honored by the national family of Archadeck Outdoor Living franchise owners for their stunning outdoor living familysanctuary in New Albany, Ohio, this Unilock patio builder is humbled to be recognized with the Angie’s List Super Service Award eight times to date – an amazing achievement.

Also recipient of the Columbus Consumers Choice Award for deck and patio building, this local Archadeck literally transformed this stately slate blue rear exterior.

What was once just a tiny stoop outside the double patio doors beautifully evolved into a multi-dimensional and functional outdoor living masterpiece.

The attention to detail in design and fabrication is noticeable even at a distance, with the luxe, tranquil color of the Coconut Husk TimberTech Prime deck boards. To add drama, the porch interior reveals a cedar tongue and groove ceiling as you glance upward.

For protection, a Preferred Savannah black aluminum railing was used in the design, with a decking board rail cap constructed from the same TimberTech Coconut Husk colored material for streamlined continuity.

All the brown trim for posts, skirting and the ridge beam were from LP Smartside, which serves as a beautiful focal point for the stacked stone coping at the base of the covered porch columns, intended to match the home’s foundation with its stone façade.

As for the patio hardscape, Unilock Beacon Hill pavers set the stage for this multi-use outdoor living extension, which features a built-in outdoor grill and gas firepit, both constructed of Unilock Rivercrest hardscapes.

To complete the outdoor living installation, this New Albany covered porch and patio builder also meticulously formed the beds for plant materials which the homeowner can add thoughtfully over time.
