Better Building By Design In This Rowlett TX Covered Patio Covering The Entire Rear Of The Home
As you view the images of this once-in-a-lifetime Rowlett backyard reinvention, the exacting details that comprise this creation by Archadeck of Northeast Dallas, are so impressive that we want to share it all with you, to give you an idea of the creative imaginations that dreamt up this backyard masterwork.
The Rowlett TX Covered Patio Outdoor Living Room, Lounge, Kitchen And Entertainment Center
This expansive 30-foot by 65 foot covered patio has three distinct roof lines attached – a gable on both the left and right and a shed roof in the middle. The shingles that cover them were intentionally chosen to match the house.
Under the protective shade and sun roof configuration, we installed a Tongue and Groove Pine ceiling with walnut stain finish that now hosts an outdoor room span with 32 can lights, 8 fans, 5 porch lights, 6 heaters, 15 switches, and 15 outlets. To support this significant outdoor living upgrade in Rowlett, our expert patio building team installed a new subpanel to accommodate a new electric meter.
Furthermore, each column inside this patio porch is wrapped with smart panel Cedar texture, and mimics a 10-inch by 10-inch architectural column. Speaking of Cedar, you’ll notice that we built privacy walls at either end of the patio with Cedar louvers that open and close easily to facilitate illumination and breeze control when desired.
At the very foundation of this Rowlett outdoor patio, our team created the Stamp and Stain floor 12-inch wood stain texture pattern in Platinum Grey with Charcoal release. Stunning!
For a complementary contrast to these deeper, richer color hues, we used Austin White Chopped Stone with Buff Leuder tops, due to its naturally durable and water resistant properties.
Speaking of water, notice the swim spa adjacent to the plush conversation area at the far right side of the structure. In that area, you will also find a motorized drop-down custom sized screen for video, live TV and streaming content.
As for convenient access to return to the home’s interior, custom doors now lead to the house, with access to the master bedroom, too. The main entrance has a custom foldable door.
Here’s What’s Cookin’ In This Rowlett TX Outdoor Kitchen
This generously sized U-shaped outdoor kitchen features:
- a griddle
- grill
- built in gas fire feature
- trash can
- and all within the confines of its Austin White Chopped Stone surround
The 8-seat bar across from the outdoor kitchen has loads of convenient storage and a trash can receptacle from within.
What’s A Custom Outdoor Patio Combination Outdoor Room In Rowlett Without A Fireplace And Fire Feature?
Across from the 10-seat al fresco outdoor dining table suite, family and guests can enjoy the soothing, tranquil sounds of flowing waters from the three fountain waterfalls inside this custom water feature – also handcrafted from Austin White Chopped Stone for architectural continuity. The waterfalls are illuminated via LED lights and showcase tile on the inside of the water feature.
As the day’s leisure fun, conversations and relaxation turn into dusk and beyond, there are two ways to keep cozy and warm. Inside the covered patio is a gas fireplace with two wood stacks, also custom built with Austin White Chopped Stone. Then, outdoors into the rear landscape, we installed a 20-foot by 2-foot gas fire pit with smooth lava rocks, also fashioned with a matching Stamp and Stain exterior and stone. The 18-foot curved seat bench with backrest augments the two white rocking chairs that enjoy a view of the entire outdoor patio experience.
