Spanning the entire width of the large rectangular shaped swimming pool, our latest covered poolside patio design is so beautiful, the family may never want to go back indoors again.
Adjacent to the rear of the home where floor to ceiling windows now overlook the swimming pool, the entire length of the pool set the parameters for the width of the new covered outdoor pool patio living space.
Starting with the front of the new pool patio covered porch structure, you’ll find the two wood columns of the patio cover are positioned atop Oklahoma chopped stone with Lueder's stone caps.
This structure measures 10-feet deep by 22-feet wide, following the outline of the pool. To beautifully cap the new pool patio outdoor living space, we designed and constructed an gable roof cover right off the pool surround. This roof is a stunning accent to the backyard, and adds architectural interest and dimension to the rear of the home.

On the wooden interior ceiling, we finished it with a rich dark walnut stain.
We also upgraded the existing pool surround patio to a paver patio using Lafitt Grana slab pavers from Belgard, absolutely stunning with its mélange of soft pastels. The gorgeous graduated color tones are a favorite of the local owners, Archadeck franchisees Agustin and Amanda Garza.
Off white blends into soft powder blue … blends into soft blush pink … and softens into a hint of gray.
Hailing from the Belgard Metropolitan Collection, these paver slabs are linear and smooth. Their strong lines pair with smooth textures to give this outdoor poolside patio space a bold, modern look.
This streamlined, contemporary aesthetic emphasizes natural light and neutral tones to embody a modern flair that is cozy, not cold.
As you can imagine, these new pavers were quite an upgrade from the original concrete pool surround that was previously there, so this was an amazing transformation that tied the new shade structure and pool patio together, making it truly unified and cohesive.
We also installed 4 recessed can lights and a ceiling fan in the patio cover for creature comforts when desired. Also, you’ll notice all the trim on the patio cover is stained to accent the adjacent protective fence at left.
For the crowning touch, we integrated a queen truss detail –and painted it to match the house.
