The most joyous thing about this Archadeck case study is that when we first met with this new deck client and he told us what he wanted us to design and build, we didn’t even flinch.
“A platform for an outer space observatory? Well, of course. We would love to do that!”
CHILDHOOD DREAMS AND FASCINATIONS THAT LAST A LIFETIME, ENHANCED BY ARCHADECK
It takes a special outdoor living company to think outside the box to help our clients realize their outdoor living dreams. This dream was made a reality thanks to our superb design and construction skills and TimberTech low-maintenance composite decking in Silver Maple.
To frame this specialty creation, we used white aluminum rail to better reflect the magic of shooting stars in the sky, and to add protection to those while viewing them through the lens.
And talk about utility and functionality creatively, we decided to build it in an octagonal design to allow full viewing access to the telescope from any and all angles.
