Quality you can see and feel

Unilock Select pavers lead the industry with proprietary technologies, ensuring that your paver and wall projects will provide many years of enjoyment. With a variety of textures Unilock delivers pavers ranging from 2 to as much as 4 times the strength of concrete. This means you can mix and match products to create your own design while having the peace of mind that Unilock Select pavers will last a lifetime

Columbus homeowners are choosing…

Among discriminating Columbus homeowners our most popular Unilock paver is the Camelot Series, Camelot delivers a cobblestone look with a slight variation. Each paver in this multi-paver system is slightly rounder than your typical cobblestone-style paver. The result is something reminiscent of cobblestone of days gone by, but with a distinctive point of difference.

Flagstone detail

Another favorite from Unilock is Beacon Hill Flagstone. Beacon Hill Flagstone has a very natural appearance and is ideal for almost any hardscape project you can imagine. Its soft blended colors and subtle surface design gives Beacon Hill Flagstone a relaxed historic look and feel. This paver is available in three sizes to help add a random appearance into your custom hardscape project.

Custom patio with fire pit

The Westerville, OH, patio and fire pit above was built using Unilock Beacon Hill flagstone pavers with a charcoal Holland stone border giving life to the true rustic nature. The hardscape includes two distinct outdoor living areas including the seating area and the versatile outdoor living area anchored with the custom built fire pit. The deep neutral tones of the hardscape create a rustic elegance for this space.

Soldier or sailor?

One of the most frequent questions we receive here at Archadeck of Columbus is what is the difference between a soldier course and sailor course edge present in many of our hardscape designs? We thought this would be a great opportunity to answer this question correctly:

  • A soldier course is one in which pavers or brick are laid standing on end with the narrow edge facing out. This type of course is sometimes used for decorative effects .
  • A sailor course is similar to the soldier course but with the wide edge facing out. It is used for decorative effects (vertical, long, wide). The width of a masonry structure can be measured by stretchers and joints. The height of a masonry structure can be measured by courses and joints.
