Are you craving an outdoor room with a view of your Columbia, SC, home?
If you answered yes, then our recent Harbison-area Columbia sunroom and deck addition in the Lost Creek neighborhood is sure to inspire you to act upon your cravings…
When the homeowners reached out to Archadeck of Central SC, they had a traditional pressure-treated wooden deck, which served as their sole outdoor living space. The homeowners wanted their outdoor living space to be more conducive for year-round enjoyment and while using smart, low-maintenance materials.
Since their beautiful home sits on a private lake in their Harbison-area neighborhood, it only made sense to create a space that enabled indoor and outdoor enjoyment, made the most of their stunning lakeside view, and was a breeze to maintain!
Archadeck of Central SC designed and built this deluxe outdoor living space that includes a custom sunroom and an elevated Trex composite deck with white vinyl railing. Trex was the inventor of wood-alternative composite decking. Choosing Trex for this lakeside deck helped us achieve the low-maintenance, high-performance backyard retreat these homeowners had in mind.
The spacious and airy sunroom is accessible from two separate deck entrances. The vaulted design and large gable-end windows ensure the room is bathed in natural light. The interior of the sunroom boasts a ceramic tile floor, sliding windows, and a Mitsubishi mini-split ductless heating & AC unit. This system provides zoned comfort solutions for year-round comfort and is up to 40% more efficient than traditional HVAC systems.

The homeowners are elated with their sunroom and deck combination space! It certainly provides the year-round benefits they had in mind and satisfies their outdoor living cravings perfectly!
