One of the great things about our professional outdoor living space design and build team is our ability to listen to your needs and wants and apply our experienced creative thinking to it.
Ever since being held captive in their home with the concerns of COVID and the variants, this family wanted to branch out and give themselves the luxury of having more room to do a variety of things.
A four season room and deck combination to enjoy beautiful views of their landscape regardless of the weather or season? Done.
Extra room to stretch out and enjoy the company of family, neighbors, and friends without cramming into the kitchen or interior family room? Done.
A focus on keeping this new space as low maintenance as possible as it’s all about enjoyment and not being concerned with cleanups? Done.
Cushy, comfortable seating for 8 surrounded by sunlight? Done.
Adding a second huge smart TV to the household in a separate space so as not to interfere with whatever is being enjoyed inside the house? Done.
An easy way to ensure that the family’s pet Golden Retriever doesn’t track mud or grass clippings into the house after enjoying some solitude in the backyard? Done.
An easily, accessible adjacent deck to grill family favorite meals without messing up the interior kitchen? Done.
A Custom Dog Washing Station; Now That’s Creative Thinking, Definitely Outside Of The Box
During their complimentary design consultation, the family complained about how the family pet was constantly inadvertently bringing the outside in – on his paws and needed a better solution than just towels. The idea of a custom dog wash station made sense. The location of the dog wash station was determined by the plumbing layout inside the house. With the two door set up the dog can come up the back steps without getting mud all over the deck.
Speaking Of Keeping Gracie Clean, Low Maintenance Outdoor Living With Easy Cleanup Is The Name Of The Game
In keeping with our tradition of including the TimberTech line of extraordinarily low maintenance composite and synthetic decking materials, we installed TimberTech Pro Terrain in Silver Maple.
The traditional hues in this TimberTech Pro Terrain collection range from solid to moderately varied and create a timeless look with a complex, rugged wood grain pattern designed to camouflage everyday wear and tear.
TimberTech decking is engineered thoughtfully and meticulously to last. Homeowner protection includes a 30-Year Limited Product Warranty and a 30-Year Limited Fade and Stain Warranty, which are the best among leading manufacturers.
TimberTech Pro Terrain highlights include:
1. Up to 80% recycled material to champion sustainability
2. Mold Guard Technology with its four-sided cap
3. Steadfast color to preserve and retain its unique color for years
4. High moisture resistance as there are no wood or mineral fillers in the caps
5. Thoughtful installation with quality fastening options allowing for its strong hold and beautifully finished look.
Quality At Every Turn, Including Glances Into The Backyard Landscape
To let the sunshine in when desired, and keep the chill of winter outside where it belongs, we used Pella double-hung windows in this four-season room.
To protect and beautifully define the deck structure exterior, the deck railing is Duralock with handsome black aluminum balusters.
The interior of this incredibly unique 4 season room space is no stranger to quality either.
Continuing the mindfulness about sustainability, a ductless split system was installed for year-round comfort. They are a good choice for room additions where extending or installing distribution ductwork is not feasible, and for very efficient new homes that require only a small space conditioning system.
Like standard air-source heat pumps, splits have two main components -- an outdoor compressor/condenser and an indoor air-handling unit. A conduit, which houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and a condensate drain, links the outdoor and indoor units.
Top To Bottom Is Where The Focus On Quality Continues
The Top: The ceiling of the 4-season room is tongue and groove pine which was stained in the color of the homeowners choice, and it blends perfectly with the color of the LVP used on the floor.
The Bottom: The flooring in this 4-season room is LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank). This is a perfect choice to add beauty and offers easy cleanup. Among its recognized attributes are waterproof protection, realistic wood visualization, high durability, and ultra-easy clean up.
