This Mundelein, IL project is a combination of a re-deck and a gazebo design.What is a re-deck? If the structure of your deck is in good shape, you are a good candidate for a re-deck project. A re-deck allows you to use the existing framework of your deck and replace any boards, rails, stairs, & other small details. You can completely change the look & feel of your space by switching old decking from wood to composite.

Do you build with Trex?
The short answer is no. Archadeck of Chicagoland doesn’t build with Trex. A common misconception around composite decking is that Trex is another word for composite. Trex is actually one of many brands that produce and supply composite decking material. Archadeck of Chicagoland has partnered with TimberTech which is a different brand of composite decking.
Do I have to re-build my entire deck to use composite material?
No! A common project Archadeck of Chicagoland takes on is a re-decking project. This involves keeping the existing structure of the homeowner’s deck & replacing any boards on top, rails, & stairs.
