Archadeck just made another backyard more beautiful and functional by refurbishing a deck and porch combination outdoor living space and giving it a new lease on life.
Keeping What Works Well, And Improving What Doesn’t
This Eagle Point subdivision backyard in North Shelby County had the potential to become a truly wonderful outdoor leisure multi-level oasis, and Archadeck of Birmingham was just the right expert deck and porch builder to make that happen.
The previous second story deck and porch combination needed an upgrade to make it as good as it possibly could be. With some creatively innovative thinking, great design, and flawless construction, this is the result.
Our solution was to make the side deck a little shorter than its original footprint and to reconfigure the stairs for safer, easier, and more convenient access.
Similarly, we added a new wall post and installed a new rail on the porch and upper deck areas, using pressure treated wood with a low maintenance composite cap and black round aluminum balusters.
Composite Decking Materials From TimberTech Were The Perfect Transformational Addition To Create A More Leisure Outdoor Living Lifestyle
As our goal was to give the Eagle Point homeowners and their family the space they truly wanted, and looking forward to long-term use and enjoyment, we wanted to eliminate deck and porch maintenance by replacing what no longer worked with a sure fire solution that does.
The solution was to rebuild the redesigned outdoor living space combination deck and porch with TimberTech composite decking.
Using TimberTech Terrain decking in Brown Oak, we recreated the porch, the upper side deck, the landing, and the stairs.
The TimberTech Composite Terrain Collection features a rugged Cathedral grain that was only achievable before with real wood. Using a highly sustainable combination of deck board fabrication components, TimberTech Terrain exudes a timeless, traditional wood look without the rigorous maintenance and upkeep of wood. Featuring a character-rich hand-scraped texture, its premium polymer capped composite boards deliver real wood aesthetics you’ll never have to sand, stain, or seal.
What Makes TimberTech Composite Such A Great Choice To Replace An Existing Deck And Porch?
TimberTech is everything wood wishes it could be in a perfect world. With a 30 year Product Fade and Stain Limited Warranty, and its Mold Guard capped composite technology, this recycled material outdoor wunderkind is the carefree future for outdoor living lovers.
Meticulously crafted with a proprietary mix of high-performance and recycled polymers and reclaimed wood fibers, our TimberTech composite decking is deliberately made to last and won’t splinter, crack, cup, or peel. And that’s a promise.
Furthermore, its Mold Guard Technology shields TimberTech composite deck boards from mold and organic growth even on the bottom of the board. When it comes to resisting moisture, you can’t beat TimberTech. With its protected polymer cap with no wood fibers, these outdoor building composite boards are protected from moisture damage like mold, mildew, and rot.
And when it comes to ensuring that this new combination living space looks and functions like new, the family will never have to sand, stain, or seal their deck and porch combo ever again. An occasional scrub or rinse is all that’s needed.
