At the very base of the structure, the family will enjoy secluded privacy when desired on the rain deck patio below.
The redesign resulted in three feet being added to the upper deck, and an additional six to the porch roofline making this renovated area perfect for all reasons and seasons.
For visual drama, rather than one long cascading display of stairs to reach the upper deck, we added a lower landing deck and side deck, as well.
To achieve complete harmony among design, function and aesthetics, we worked along with the homeowner’s hardscape designer who is in the process of installing a custom array of gardens and a koi pond in the backyard area.
