These homeowners were looking for an aesthetic upgrade for the front of their home. Archadeck of Birmingham designed and built a sleeper deck with stair and pergola/trellis to welcome these clients and their guests to their front door. Both the deck and trellis were built with pressure-treated wood. The wood can be left natural and allowed to gray over time – or these Homewood homeowners can choose to paint or stain it. In addition to the trellis and deck, Archadeck of Birmingham poured a concrete pad below, which connects the new entryway with the driveway and flagstone path, leading to the patio area. This worked to create a cohesive design aesthetic with areas beyond the entryway.
