What Goes into the Design Phase?
During your in-home design consultation, an Archadeck designer will go into greater depth with you about how you plan to use your new outdoor living space and the look you’d like to achieve. We’ll review your home and property and take precise measurements to help determine the building design that best fits your needs, preferences, and budget. After the consultation, we’ll develop a few design concepts for your project and schedule a follow-up meeting to review them together. Once you select a final design, we’ll finalize the contract and get started on bringing your vision to life.
What Does the Production Phase Involve?
Once your custom design is finalized, we’ll create a clear plan to bring your new outdoor living space to life. This phase includes coordinating any HOA approvals and permits that may be required, ordering and receiving materials, assigning one of our skilled carpentry teams to your project, and accounting for weather or other unforeseen factors that may affect the timeline. Throughout the process, a member of the Archadeck team will communicate the production and keep you informed at every stage, ensuring you always know what’s happening and have a direct point of contact for any questions. What Happens at the End of My Project?
Congratulations! As your project nears completion, there are just a few final steps before you can fully enjoy your new outdoor living space. If permits were required, a final inspection will be scheduled to close them out. A member of the Archadeck team will also conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure every detail meets your expectations. If you’re willing, we’d love to capture photos and receive a review to help celebrate your finished project.
Note: For projects that include pressure-treated lumber, the wood will need several weeks to fully dry before a separate provider can apply paint or stain.
