A Complete Transformation Of This Backyard Is What Was Requested; And We Delivered
When we say “Complete,” we mean it.
The homeowners even added an inground backyard swimming pool, and they tore down an old wooden deck to make room for all the additions. Now that’s proactive thinking and planning!
This outdoor living combo showcase now resides in the Avery Ranch subdivision in North Austin, TX. The patio is a textured pool deck surface which was created by the pool company, we partnered with, to ensure that everything came together just as planned with the project.
Low Maintenance – Or Should We Say No Maintenance – Was The Order Of The Day
With an exterior home improvement of this scope and caliber, the last thing you want is to have to go to great lengths to keep it looking terrific.
That’s why we chose TimberTech Advanced PVC synthetic English Walnut decking from their Vintage Collection, crafted in an exotic hardwood aesthetic.
With this renowned low maintenance decking product, our clients get the sought-after look of premium hardwoods such as Ipe, mahogany, and teak, without the rigorous maintenance typically required of real wood. Its capped polymer decking features proprietary materials technology that delivers sophisticated, real wood aesthetics you’ll never have to sand, stain, or seal. In a word … Heavenly.
Inside The Outside Space Features Abound
Once inside the covered patio area, you can’t help but notice quality at every turn.
The outdoor gas fireplace, which is ensconced in chopped limestone, includes a handy remote control for extra convenience. The caps on the deck posts and on the hearth are also handcrafted out of Lueder’s limestone.
As for other stonework, the outdoor kitchen countertops are granite. It was selected for this project as granite can withstand exposure to the elements and is the least porous of the natural stones used to produce countertops. In addition, granite won’t easily chip or crack and it can withstand exposure to heat – a necessity for an outdoor kitchen, if we do say so ourselves.
As for that exquisite ceiling protecting the patio cover, we chose Synergy Wood. The well-recognized leading expert in prefinished wood for ceilings and walls, this prefinished and end-match tongue and groove wood product is a standout for outdoor living space applications. Made in the USA, it comes in Southern Pine, Red Grandis, Eastern White Pine, Rustic Barnwood, and E-Peck.
