And our history in the outdoor living arena is rich and long.
In 1980, we started our business to help folks who were having new homes built and discovered that their contractor did not want to build an outdoor living space as part of their arrangement.
As you can imagine, that created a wealth of opportunity for the Archadeck Outdoor Living brand and business.

We don’t offer “one-size-fits-all” designs: the needs of each customer and every property is different. Instead, we’ll work with you to design and build a custom porch that fits your home’s unique needs and your desired function.

Patios have certainly changed in recent years. Not too long ago, most patios were made of simple concrete pads encompassing a sparse piece of earth off the back of the home. These boring, builder-grade patios lacked function, beauty and character.
Our awe-inspiring combination project in Clear Creek Township, OH was the winning design for the CotY Award (Contractor of the Year) in the category of Residential Exterior projects in the recent past.
The design features a low-maintenance covered porch that steps down into a large curved paver patio including an integrated custom fire pit, all of which were constructed with Oberfield Tumbled Pavers.
Patios today encompass a wide variety of materials from pavers, to natural and synthetic stone and are often assembled with unique footprints complementing the architectural elements present in your home and the surrounding landscape.
Our Archadeck patios include vertical hardscapes with outdoor kitchens, outdoor fireplaces and fire pits, retaining walls, decorative pillars and even hardscape stairs and steps.
