When you want an outdoor living space that truly celebrates the outdoors, contact the experts at Archadeck of Austin.
Our design team took a formerly meager concrete slab that came with the original house and blew it out into the backyard of this Pflugerville, TX, home to create something quite beautiful to behold.
After removing the original concrete slab, they poured fresh concrete and extended the previous footprint exponentially to create a spacious and shaded outdoor living room. The poured patio features a light broom-finish for reflective texture and dimension, creating a stunning foundation for outdoor relaxation and enjoyment.
THERE ARE PERGOLAS AND THEN THERE IS THIS BEAUTY
This Austin custom pergola features a thrusting design reminiscent of the entrance gates to hallowed halls.
Strong, sturdy and ever present, this pergola structure is crafted from rich cedar and the top features Topgal on the very top surface.
Topgal polycarbonate was chosen as the pergola cover as it shields the covered area from rainfall, so our clients can enjoy their patio “rain or shine.”
While it may look like a simple sheet of plastic, this amazingly durable and dependable performance cover is a four-wall structure that provides thermal insulation, keeping the outdoor living patio below comfortably cool.
Unique to this design and fabrication, the Topgal pergola cover allows light to pass through but blocks UV rays to reduce solar heat gain below. It’s an excellent weatherproofing feature with an unobtrusive appearance.
Designed for use in most conventional roofing and glazing applications, Topgal rises to the occasion in this gorgeous design.
It is a multi-wall standing seam panel system suitable for the roofing and coverage of many types of buildings. Topgal’s unique multi-wall structure, with its relatively low weight, enables the optimum light transmission and provides excellent thermal insulation, making it a natural for this pergola extension.
Its standing-seam panel connections prevent water from collecting and penetrating the surface and provide high structural strength and superior rigidity of the system in accordance with required standards.
Benefits of the Topgal panel system include:
• Availability in standard colors, as well as special color layers that selectively reflect solar radiation
• Its rigid structure provides strength under wind and snow loads
• Panels can have UV protection on both sides or on the tooth side, upon request
• Covered by its 10 Year Warranty for color, light transmission, and strength
• The system uses the technical support of professional designers and builders such as Archadeck of Austin
