In Halifax’s Jollimore area, our client’s deck was worn out and possibly dangerous. Working with our client, we wanted to create a worry-free space for entertaining. We mimicked the existing layout but created a solid and sturdy deck that will last for years to come.
After the old deck was demolished and hauled away, new concrete, frost-protected footings were placed, and the construction began. The pressure-treated timber deck sits just over 170 square feet, giving them plenty of space to grill and entertain. The stairs descend to a small wooden landing platform and easy access to the yard beyond.
