This hilly property in Dartmouth required a lot of stone work to make sure the deck above was not only beautiful, but stable and safe for years to come. We added a new multi-level pressure treated deck with sleek black aluminum railings and a staircase linking the front and the back of the home.

In order to maximize the usable space, we created a stone retaining wall and platform. This allowed us to have a much larger entertainment area as well as creating a charming visual design feature.
The man-made blocks are formed from concrete and aggregate stone, making them both durable and beautiful. This 2 piece system has a facing block and an internal anchoring system made from recycled materials. They matched the raw beauty of natural stone and classic cut stone to add a distinguished style to the landscape.

We carried the stone work up the side of the home along the stairs to stabilize the structure. Planters were incorporated along the staircase to enhance and soften the look.
