Low-Maintenance Outdoor Living in Russet Woods
These homeowners recently moved from a residence where Archadeck had built their original deck 20 years ago. When they moved into the new home in Hoover’s Russet Woods neighborhood, the home had a pressure treated deck that was in need of updating. Archadeck of Birmingham met with these wonderful clients and came up with a game plan to deliver an amazing updated deck.
Although we used the same footprint as that of the existing deck, to decrease the need for maintenance, the homeowners chose to use low-maintenance TimberTech Terrain decking in the Silver Maple color. This decking is built using 4-sided capped composite technology and resists mold and moisture intrusion. Being made with up to 80% recycled materials, this decking is also eco-friendly. Last but certainly not least, Terrain is resistant to stain damage and is backed by a 30-year stain and fade warranty.
The sleek railing adds the finished touch to this backyard beauty in a mix of black aluminum railing from Afco topped with a matching TimberTech rail cap – stunning!
